Magnetic Number Links 2

Calculating one or two digit numbers that when added together cross a 10s boundary can be a tough concept to secure. Revolutionise teaching, modelling and practice with magnetic Number Links.

Represent the problem with 10s and 1s. Add all of the 10s on to the magnetic 100s square, followed by the 1s. If the 1s cross a tens boundary, just swap them for another 10-Link and the amount that overhangs. Move that link down to the next line to reveal the answer. Connects number, amount and calculation visually at the same time.

Set contains 39 magnetic 1-10 Number Links, 1 x magnetic 100s square and 1-10 spinner. A wealth of versatile activities are listed on the box reverse.
